Michiana VegFest is a vibrant and free vegan food festival organized by a team of dedicated volunteers to highlight the ethical, health and environmental advantages of a plant-based lifestyle.

At this year’s event, attendees can look forward to:

  • Cooking demonstrations by both locally and nationally renowned chefs
  • Delicious food, including free samples from a diverse range of local and regional vendors
  • Engaging lectures by prominent authors and health experts, shedding light on:
    • The environmental impact of animal agriculture
    • Ethical concerns tied to the meat and dairy industries
    • The extensive health benefits of adopting a plant-based diet
  • Close to 100 vendors and exhibitors showcasing vegan-friendly products, services and organizations
  • A dynamic, interactive Kids’ Corner, designed to entertain and educate children
  • Live music to create a festive atmosphere for all to enjoy

Our festival warmly welcomes everyone from southwestern Michigan, northern Indiana and beyond, including students from nearby colleges. Michiana VegFest also proudly supports local vegan-friendly businesses and organizations.

Through its VegEDU program, the festival extends its mission year-round, offering educational opportunities on health and environmental topics to the broader community.

When: Sunday, April 27, 11 a.m.–5 p.m.
Where: Gillespie Center, with ample free parking and convenient access via public transportation.

Whether you’re a committed vegan or simply curious, Michiana VegFest invites you to explore, learn and taste your way toward a healthier and more sustainable future.

You can order up to five tickets for you and your family or friends. Each person gets their own QR code and PDF ticket.
