Just before Jesus was crucified on Calvary, the disciples of Christ had to see more than a miracle; they had to see that Jesus had power over death. When they saw Lazarus coming out of the grave, they did not even realize the foreshadowing of what would happen on the Passover weekend. However, the person who walked out of the grave on Passover weekend would never die again. He is called the Firstborn of the Dead, holding the keys of Hades and Death, and everyone who believes in Jesus will have an everlasting life.
