Position summary
At the College of Health & Human Services (CHHS), we’re seeking a talented
Email Marketing Specialist to manage and execute email campaigns that inspire, inform, and convert. This role is focused exclusively within CHHS and supports our mission to connect students to meaningful health professions. You’ll develop targeted campaigns, monitor performance, and help us build a best-in-class communication flow for prospective students and internal stakeholders.

Duties and responsibilities
- Write and schedule email campaigns to promote CHHS programs.
- Create a well-organized email archive for lead nurturing and ongoing campaign use.
- Manage subscriber lists, ensuring data integrity by removing bounced or unsubscribed addresses.
- Monitor key performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Work closely with supervisor, CHHS admissions team, program directors, and school chair.
- Stay informed on industry trends and bring forward fresh ideas to improve reach and conversion rates.

Qualifications
- A curious and adaptable approach to work—especially important in the ever-evolving digital landscape.
- Analytical thinking; ability to interpret campaign data and translate insights into decisions.
- Strong written communication skills with attention to clarity and tone.
- Experience with email platforms like HubSpot, or similar.
- Familiarity with managing segmented email lists and designing customer journeys.
Technical competencies
- Proficient with Canva and HubSpot or similar (or able to learn quickly).
- Capable of building automated workflows and creating visual reports.
- Comfortable segmenting audiences and setting up A/B tests.
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple campaigns simultaneously.
Interpersonal interactions
- Works collaboratively with CHHS admissions team, program directors, and school chairs.
- Participates in planning meetings and provides updates to supervisor.
- Communicates externally only when designated by supervisor.
Physical demands
- Hybrid or on-campus work options, based on CHHS needs.
- Regular interaction in person or virtual on Zoom, email, and shared project platforms.
Work environment
Desk-based position; must be able to stand or sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
